How to Handle Rotary Evaporator in Transportation

Rotary evaporator is a kind of evaporation instrument widely used in laboratory. How to handle vacuum rotary evaporator in transportation?

1. It must be carried by the measuring personnel, and must not be collided or placed upside down.

2. It must be shipped in a shock-proof box with a cushion, and the words "Do not turn upside down" should be put outside the box, and write "Optical or electronic instruments, handle with care, and severe pressure is not allowed.”

3. When the rotary evaporator is transported by a car, it should be placed on the front cushion to prevent bumps and vibrations, or it should be held on the lap by a person, or it can be carried on the back, and should not be placed on the base cabinet of the car.

4. When moving in a short distance, the instrument should be held vertically to keep it in the vertical state of the vertical axis, and must not be carried on the shoulder to avoid bumping the instrument or damaging the shaft system.

If the operation of lab rotary evaporator is not careful enough, it will be damaged or structural changes will occur, which will reduce the accuracy and shorten the service life. Therefore, the measurement personnel should be responsible for the instrument, and carefully care for it and use it correctly.
