Installation steps for explosion-proof rotary evaporator

Rotary evaporator is an evaporation instrument that is often used in the laboratory. It is mainly used for the rapid evaporation of a large number of solvents or the concentration of trace components, etc. For rotary evaporators, explosion-proof work must be done well, so how to install it?

Installation steps for explosion-proof rotary evaporator:

1. First, rotate the frame on a stable workbench near the water source. If it is not flat, you can put four hard rubber feet around it.

2. After fixing it, move the center of the machine head to a height of 48cm from the chassis, tilt it about 25 degrees to the right, then lock the frame and tighten all the nuts.

3. After fixing the electric control box according to the installation instructions, plug in the motor plug.

4. Next, to fix the condenser. Insert the condenser into the interface of the machine head, and adjust the movable joint to make the condenser vertical and hold it with the fixing clip.

5. Insert the feeding tube into the condenser tube.

6. Connect the condenser tube to the collection bottle and clamp it with a bottle clamp.

7. After the rotating bottle sleeve is on the right end of the rotating shaft, clamp it with a bottle clamp.

8. Use the vacuum tube to connect the vacuum tube connector at the place of the exhaust tube, and connect the vacuum pump or vacuum switch at the other connector.
