The rotary evaporator is a commonly used instrument for evaporation and purification in laboratories. A rotary evaporator mainly consists of three parts: a condensation and water circulation section, a heating section, and a vacuum section.

How to Adjust the Temperature of Water Bath in Vacuum Rotary Evaporator?
1. Set the Temperature Range
Before using the rotary evaporator water bath, first determine the required temperature range and set the temperature within that range. Generally, the temperature setting is based on the experimental needs.
2. Adjust the Heating Power
Adjusting the heating power is a crucial step in controlling the water bath temperature. Generally, the water bath will automatically stop heating when the set temperature is reached and will automatically heat up when the temperature drops below the set value. If the experiment requires maintaining a constant temperature, the heating power can be set to approximately 50%.
3. Check the Water Level
When using the water bath, always check whether the water level is sufficient. A low water level will expose the heating element, resulting in uneven heating.
4. Adjust the Stirring Speed
The stirring speed also significantly affects the uniformity of the water temperature. If the stirring speed is too slow, the water temperature will be uneven, affecting the experimental results; if the stirring speed is too fast, water will splash out, also affecting the experiment.

Select the appropriate heating temperature for the water bath as needed. Using correct temperature adjustment methods can better control the water bath temperature and improve experimental results.
